This is hazy because it was taken from way below and there was quite the haze that morning. This place is amazing. It was the inspiration for Walt Disney's Cinderella Castle. King Ludwig built this on the ruins of an existing castle. It took 17 years to build. He only lived in it 117 days before they committed him for being crazy, (he died the next day) 1886 At the time the interior of the castle was only 1/3 finished. Six weeks after his death they opened it for tours. The interior that is finished is beyond amazing. (they won't let you take pictures)
