At some point during every family trip I think WHY am I doing this.  Family outings are a ton of work and then when the kids start arguing and crying and crying some more.... then we went on this hike and I caught this pic of brother helping brother and I think...ok it's worth it.

Ledgefork camping trip June 2013

Ledgefork is awesome but they don't have immodium for this dude.  So we had to make a run into town.  Rems is not a fan of fishing but he is a fan of Fries!!!

I hate to say I'm a wimp.  But I am a wimp.  We bought a tent last summer and it was not a great experience.  With the flush procedure we have to do on Remy every day sometimes twice a day.....trailer with bathroom = necessity.

I was about to start singing "when we're helping we're happy" but I decided that would annoy them.  

They are pretty good helpers.  I will say teaching to work is far more exhausting than work itself.

It's 10:30 AM on the second day of summer and I'm running around like a taxi driver.  Swim lessons, summer camps, and the bank.  Hello? what happened to lazy days of summer?

Love that he wants to "do" something.... and it seems to be the minute I am deeply involved in "doing something myself" that he wants to play. Oh well, that's how we roll.

First hike

I didn't think we would run into snow on our first hike of the season.  This is the road to Albion basin which then you hike to Cecret lake.  Next year we will plan this one for July.

Field trip

This was actually Remy's field trip but he wouldn't pose for the camera.  Superman couldn't stop posing.

Double Trouble

Dennis has met a new friend and I think we might be in trouble. (Like we weren't already). Dennis update: He dropped my omega watch at the perfect angle and broke the glass on the face. Then as we were walking out the door to church he pooped his pants and then once I got him in the car I went back in for my church bag to come back to the car to find him stuffing the car DVD player with pennies. 😡😡😡😡😡 I don't think even the gypsies would take him. I am loosing my mind! Good thing he is cute.
