April showers bring May showers

Officially May was the wettest May on record for Utah.  On the rare occasion the sun came out we went outside and played anyway.

I know I'm weird...but this was fun for me. I've never had braces so I'm living vicariously through Master, and I must say he is doing a fabulous job with them. We left the dental office and he promptly pounded a hearty breakfast from McDonalds, obviously the braces are not going to slow him down.

Pinewood Derby

I don't love the pinewood derby...Somehow Indy manages to be out of town each time we do this. We did ok, better than last time, does that count for anything? Note in the parenting book of life; when your boys are distraught they didn't win, use the DISTRACTION tool. I offered to get shakes at DQ and had happy boys once more.

4th grade hike

Every parent should go on a field trip with the 4th grade. They are so funny at this age. They are still little but trying so hard to be big and responsible. I love it! ps Master you're a pretty awesome hiker!

Dental Divas (and dudes)

Go Leslie
Ogden marathon relay. I work with these folks and it was an awesome experience to cross the finish line with them. Race day was absolutely GoRGeous! I had the second leg 6.2 miles. I'm not the fastest thing around but I felt great. I passed the baton and felt like I could run and run. BiG Huge thanks to Chris Peterson, she is our friend from our corporate office in Wisconsin, she flew out just to run with us. Hopefully its the first of many!!!

Punishment

Master and Pie were arguing in the car. Their punishment was to sit on out bed, hold hands, and tell each other 5 things they liked about the other. HA! (Insert evil laugh here) I LOVE being a parent! Note: somehow they ended up in a fit of giggles.
